新規総務省の6/7 GHzマイクロ波機器に関する作業部会は、アンテナの規制が緩和され、日本でETSIのクラス3および4アンテナ規格が満たされるとの結論に達している。これは6/7GHz帯のマイクロ波のユーザーにとって非常に重要である。しかし、干渉に関する規制は非常に複雑であり、IRF（干渉低減係数）の要件は緩和されないため、結果として日本向けにETSI規格に基づくマイクロ波短距離製品は提供されていないという現状がある。

解決済みワインに対する関税はEU-日本EPA発効時に撤廃された。日米貿易協定は2020年1月1日に発効し、ワインの関税は2025年に完全撤廃される。

麦芽および関税割当制度

解決済み日本はEPA以前からも麦芽に関税割当制度を設けており、EU産麦芽には割当が導入されている。しかし、ビール自体を製造するか、特定の醸造所の使用に限って輸入する企業のみが割当を申請することが認められており、少量または短時間で複数の顧客に販売するために自社で輸入を希望する業者を差別していた。EBCとEUによる多年にわたる取り組みの後、2021年後半にはこれが改善され、EU起源の多種多様なモルトを少量でも供給できるように、クラフト・ビール市場の繁盛のために、またビール以外のユーザーのために、輸入業者への門戸が開かれた。しかし、管理上の負担は残っており、割当が十分に活用されておらず、すべての適格割当申請が付与されていることを考えると、これは合理的ではない。
